Campaign detail

One campaign's settings, stats, payouts, caps, tracking link, applications, access and fallback rules. For network admins, publishers, advertisers.

Everything about one campaign on one page. What you see depends on your role: network admins can change every setting, publishers see the terms and their tracking link, and advertisers see their cost and conversions.

What you can do here

  • Stats — Clicks, conversions (approved, pending, rejected), conversion rate and earnings for Today, 7, 30 or 90 days, with a link to the full report. (Network admins, Publishers)
  • Stats — Clicks, conversions by status, conversion rate, your total cost and cost per click for Today, 7, 30 or 90 days. (Advertisers)
  • Payout — The payout model and amount per goal. For share-based campaigns an example shows what the publisher earns from a sample revenue. (Network admins, Publishers)
  • Payout — What you pay per conversion for each goal. (Advertisers)
  • Header actions — Edit, Pause/Activate, View Report and Delete (which archives the campaign). (Network admins)
  • Publisher payout overrides — Give a single approved publisher a different deal — custom CPA, RevShare or Hybrid — without changing the campaign for everyone else. (Network admins)
  • Caps — Limits on conversions, clicks, revenue and payout by day, month and total (conversions also weekly), with optional auto-pause. (Network admins)
  • Caps — The daily limits this campaign runs under. When a cap is hit for the day, the campaign stops accepting your traffic. (Publishers)
  • Publisher applications — Approve or reject publishers who applied to run this campaign. (Network admins)
  • Access control — Change visibility (public, permission, private) and pick exactly which publishers may run it. (Network admins)
  • Fallback rules — Create and delete fallback rules; they run in priority order (lower number first) when a click can't be served normally. (Network admins)
  • Your tracking link — Fill in Sub 1, Sub 2, creative and source, then copy the finished link. It stays masked until your access is approved. (Publishers)
  • Apply for access — Campaigns that need approval show Apply for Access; the banner tells you when your application is pending or was declined. (Publishers)
  • Conversions — Recent conversions for this campaign, filterable by status. (Network admins, Advertisers)

Fields and settings

FieldWhat it does
Publisher payout overrides (Network admins)Per-publisher deal for this campaign only. Stored in campaign.publisherPayouts[affiliateId] and applied by publisherPayoutRule() before the campaign payout. Accept payout from advertiser postback still wins when the advertiser sends payout. Values: Campaign default no override; Custom CPA fixed amount per conversion; Custom RevShare percentage of advertiser revenue; Custom Hybrid fixed amount plus percentage. Depends on: Only publishers already approved on the campaign can be given an override.
Caps (Network admins)Leave a cell empty for no limit. Daily is the UTC calendar day, weekly is the last 7 days, monthly is the UTC calendar month. Conversion, revenue and payout caps count approved conversions. Values: Auto-pause sets the campaign to paused the first time any cap is hit; Cap enforcement enabled untick to ignore every cap on this campaign. Effect: Once a cap is reached new clicks get HTTP 429 (or a Cap reached fallback) and conversions that still arrive are flagged for review.
Access control (Network admins)Public lets any publisher apply, Permission limits the campaign to the publishers you select (or approve), Private blocks all tracking. Save to apply.

How to use it

  1. Check Stats for the period you care about, then open the full report for breakdowns.
  2. Review Publisher Applications and approve the publishers you want on the campaign.
  3. Set Caps if the advertiser has a daily or monthly limit, and tick auto-pause if traffic must stop at the limit.
  4. Add a Fallback rule for Cap reached so capped traffic is redirected instead of refused.
  5. If the banner says you must apply, press Apply for Access and wait for approval.
  6. Fill in your sub IDs in Your Tracking Link and copy the link into your traffic source.
  7. Check the payout and caps before sending traffic — traffic over a cap isn't paid.

Examples

Give a top publisher a better rate

Campaign pays $2.00 CPA; one publisher negotiated $2.40.

  • Publisher payout overrides: Publisher → Custom CPA → 2.40
  • Everyone else: keeps the $2.00 campaign payout

Stop at 500 sales a month

The advertiser buys at most 500 approved sales per calendar month.

  • Caps → Conversions → Monthly: 500
  • Auto-pause: On
  • Fallback rule: Cap reached → Redirect to campaign

Tag your traffic sources

Put the ad network in Sub 1 and the creative in Sub 3 so reports split results by them.

  • Sub 1: facebook
  • Sub 3 / Creative: video-ad-3

Limitations

  • Restricted: Revenue, profit and advertiser details are only shown to network admins.
  • Restricted: Your tracking link unlocks only after your access is approved (unless the campaign is public and open).
  • Restricted: Publisher payouts are never shown to advertisers; you see your own cost.
  • Depends on: Override rates only apply to publishers already approved on the campaign.
  • Not supported: Delete cannot be undone from the app — the campaign is archived and leaves the campaign list. Pause it instead if you may need it again.

Common mistakes

  • Overriding the payout but leaving advertiser payout on — If Accept payout from advertiser postback is on and the advertiser sends payout, that value wins over your override.
  • Editing the link by hand — Changing campaign_id or affiliate_id in the link breaks tracking. Use the sub ID fields instead.

Troubleshooting

  • “Stats unavailable” — The stats request failed. Reload; if it persists, check Site Health.
  • My link is blurred — Your access isn't approved yet. The banner shows whether the application is pending or was declined; contact your account manager.
  • Clicks stopped mid-day — A cap may have been reached. The Caps card shows the limits; ask your account manager about raising them.
