Tracking settings
Platform tracking switches and a test-conversion tool. For network admins.
Platform-level tracking switches and a quick tool to record a test conversion against a click ID. Important: most switches on this tab are saved but don't change tracking yet — rely on campaign settings and Fraud Control instead.
Fields and settings
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Click tracking · Conversion tracking · S2S postback | Saved and shown on profile pages. Limits: Turning these off does not stop /track clicks or postbacks today. |
| Duplicate click / conversion protection | Saved only. Limits: Duplicates are handled anyway: a repeated transaction ID never creates a second conversion, and repeat clicks are caught by the Duplicate click fraud rule when it's enabled. |
| Capture IP & user agent · geo/device/OS/browser | Saved only. Limits: Clicks always record these values; the switches don't turn capture off. |
| Click ID format | Saved only. Limits: Click IDs keep their standard format whatever you pick. |
| Cookie duration & attribution window (days) | Saved only. Limits: Attribution is decided by each campaign's own attribution window (Campaign → Tracking). |
Limitations
- Not supported: The tracking switches, capture switches, click ID format and the global cookie/attribution values on this tab are stored but not applied.
- Supported: Per-campaign attribution windows, caps and targeting, and Fraud Control rules, are enforced.
