Smart links
One URL that sends each visitor to a matching campaign, with a fallback URL. For network admins.
A smart link is a single URL (/go/<alias> on your tracking domain) that routes each visitor to a campaign based on routing rules, and to a fallback URL when nothing matches. Every routed visit becomes a normal tracked click, so caps, targeting and fraud checks still apply.
Fields and settings
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Alias | The URL slug — india-mobile gives /go/india-mobile. Generated from the name if left blank. |
| Fallback URL | Where visitors go when no rule matches or the chosen campaign can't take the click. Without one they get a 404. |
Limitations
- Not supported: Routing rules can't be added from this page yet; until a link has rules, every visitor goes to the fallback URL.
- Depends on: Paused links return 404.
- Depends on: Requires the Smart Links plan feature.
