Alert rules
Thresholds for traffic, conversion-rate and fraud alerts, and the offer link schedule. For network admins.
How big a change has to be before it's worth an alert. Every check already compares a campaign or publisher with its own history, so these numbers are about sensitivity, not about absolute volumes. Changes apply from the next check.
Fields and settings
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Traffic drop (%) | Alert when the last 6 hours bring at least this much less traffic than the same hours usually do. 70 means alert below 30% of usual. Range 30–95. Effect: The alert closes once traffic is back above half way (65% of usual with the default). |
| Traffic spike (× usual) | Alert when clicks reach this many times the usual. 3 means three times as many clicks as the same hours usually bring. Range 1.5–20. |
| Minimum clicks to judge | Traffic in a 6-hour window below this isn't judged — its ups and downs are noise. Applies to the usual level for drops, the current level for spikes, and to fraud spikes. Range 10–100,000. |
| Conversion-rate drop (%) | Alert when a campaign's conversion rate over the last 24 hours is at least this much below its previous week, and at least 10 conversions were expected. Range 20–95. Depends on: The drop must also be statistically clear (under a 1% chance by luck). A complete stop is left to Postback Health. |
| Flagged traffic share (%) | Alert when at least this share of a publisher's clicks in the last 6 hours was flagged or blocked, and it's at least twice their usual share. Range 5–95. |
| Check offer links automatically · interval | Whether every running campaign's offer URL is opened on a schedule — off by default — and how often while it's on (15 minutes to a day; every 60 minutes unless changed). Off, you can still check a link by hand on the Offer links tab, which has the same On/Off switch at the top. |
Limitations
- Restricted: Anyone with the Campaigns permission can see the rules; changing them needs the Settings permission.
- Depends on: Who is notified, and whether each kind of alert notifies at all, is set under Settings → Notifications.
