My postback isn't firing
Why your own tracker isn't receiving Affilinext postbacks, and how to fix it.
- Was a conversion recorded? Postbacks only fire for real conversions. Check Reporting → Conversion Report first.
- Is a postback saved? Open Postbacks → Global Postbacks and confirm the URL is saved and active.
- Check the logs. Postbacks → Postback Logs shows the exact URL Affilinext called and what your server answered.
- Read the response code: -
4xx— your server rejected it (wrong path, token or allow-list). -5xx— your server errored. - Timeout — your server took too long; respond quickly and process afterwards. - Check your macros. If your tracker shows a literal
{something}, that macro name isn't supported — compare with Postbacks → Macro Reference.
Failed deliveries are retried automatically with increasing delays, so a short outage on your side will usually recover by itself.
Use Postbacks → S2S Tester to send a test after every change.
