Turn on two-factor authentication
Protect your account with a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) asks for a code from your phone in addition to your password, so a stolen password alone can't open your account.
Turn it on
- Click your name in the top-right corner and open My Profile → Security.
- Under Two-factor authentication, start setup.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, Authy or similar.
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.
- Save your backup codes somewhere safe. Each one can be used once if you lose your phone.
From now on you'll enter a code from the app each time you sign in.
Lost your phone?
Sign in with one of your backup codes instead of the 6-digit code, then set up 2FA again on your new device. If you've run out of backup codes, ask a network admin to help you regain access.
